High Five to Five Years
Imagewest, the only student-run advertising agency in the nation, celebrated its 5th year in operation with its annual open house. These promotional efforts spanned viral video, Facebook and even a microsite to create buzz and increase attendance for the open house event. As a result, the open house had its largest attendance to-date.
A microsite we developed for the Open House. Included YouTube videos, a countdown, photos of our Ninja Gnome interacting with people and places around Bowling Green, links to Imagewest's home website, social media outlets and even a link to an online ninja game.
We leveraged the Imagewest mascot - the Ninja Gnome - as a promotional tool for the event. We set up a Facebook profile page for him and included links to videos and created photo albums to where individuals could browse through photos and tag themselves in them. Photos included random snapshots of the Ninja Gnome roaming around WKU's campus, dishing out high fives to students which kept with the theme "High Five to Five Years."

 
We chose a profile page over a fan page to make the Ninja Gnome appear more "personal" and more interactive with other Facebook friends.
